The evening was enjoyed by about 50 HUGGS friends who came to hear a report on the students. Marilyn Gullison, chair of HUGGS Canada, and Laurie Hanlon, office administrator, had represented HUGGS on a visit to Vizag, home to most of our scholars. They showed pictures and talked about the current students, and also introduced six of this year's prospective students - all eager to continue their studies but without the financial resources to do so. Funds will be raised throughout the year for each of these young people - full sponsorship per year is $1,000.
