In May 2009, HUGGS Canada joined members of the
Sikh community of Vancouver in celebrating their
heritage. With the able guidance of Director Harmeet
Chhina, HUGGS hosted a booth showing the stories
of young people whose lives have been empowered
by education.
Thanks to the many who stopped to chat - and to
those who made spontaneous donations! And thanks
to all the volunteers for their enthusiastic participation.
