BURNABY - Yuva's first event the "Summer BBQ Picnic" was a huge success. It took place on Sunday, July 24, at Burnaby Mountain.
Yuva-the Youth Group, which is a branch of India Club, had over 150 people for thier first event of the year. People enjoyed with great enthusiasm and supported the charity HUGGS! The picnic was collecting donations for HUGGS which is an educational program for the underprivileged students in India. Nita Sharma is the Chairperson of this year for Yuva and is also one of the Directors for India Club representing Yuva (Youth Group).
